Breast Lift Before & After Case 23

This is a 54 year old breast cancer survivor who underwent lumpectomy and then extensive radiation therapy of the left breast in the early 80s. The treatment resulted in a contracture of the treated breast and the nipple was pulled into a far lateral position. The patient noticed a significant amount of drooping developing on the right but didn’t want any further surgery on the left breast to correct this deformity. She asked us to lift the right breast to allow her breasts to better match in her clothes. She underwent a breast lift or mastopexy on the right and while not completely symmetric, she was happy to feel more balanced in her bra.
