Turn Back the Clock at Any Decade

Dr. Mark Freeman

Whether you’re new to cosmetic treatments or a seasoned pro, at Freeman Plastic Surgery we’re here to help you look and feel your best no matter what your age. Check out these common treatments our patients get at different times in their lives:

20s, the decade of prevention: This is the time to start a daily at-home skin regimen. Your 3 must-have products are a broad-spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30, a medical-grade vitamin C serum that protects your skin from free radical damage, and a product to help accelerate your skin cell turnover rate, such as a retinol or alpha hydroxy.

30s, the decade of essentials: In our 30s, we may begin to notice fine lines around the eyes and forehead as well as thinning skin. If you haven’t picked up the at-home skin care habits that you should have in your 20s, it’s not too late! This is also a common time to add chemical peels and other spa essentials such as facials.

40s, the decade of injectables: In your 40s, laugh lines and crow’s feet may be visible even when your face is at rest. Injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® are now your best friend! Dermal filler injections can also help erase wrinkles and restore volume to lips and cheeks.

50s and up, the decades of experience: By this time, you should be a pro when it comes to a healthy skin care regimen and non-surgical office treatments. This is also the time that many patients begin exploring plastic surgery options at our Idaho and Wyoming practice. Dr. Mark Freeman can help you decide which options might fulfill your goals.
